A sustainable company is one that considers its impacts on communities and recognises the benefits of thriving with them. Businesses that support the development of communities, not only retain their social license to operate, but also enjoy multiple other benefits.
Our breweries and cidery are historically iconic to local communities in which they operate; from South Auckland where our Waitemata Brewery (and head office) is located, to Greymouth, the home of Monteith’s. Many of our employees and their families also form part of these communities.
Our aim is to create positive impacts that extend further than philanthropy. We strive to create long-term shared value with communities through direct contributions, such as partnerships and in-kind donations, as well as indirect contributions to the economy.
