Amstel

Since 1870, Amstel has been brewing beer for the people. Founded on the banks of the Amstel river, founders and brothers-in-law Charles de Pesters and Johannes van Marwijk believed that their heavier pilsner with great taste, clarity and consistent quality would surpass thinner, top-fermented beers in popularity. And they were right.
The distinctive golden Amstel captured beer lover’s attention with its mildly bitter taste and excellent quality, quickly earning a name for itself outside the borders of its native Netherlands. Today, Amstel has gained tremendous popularity and is recognised, loved, and cheersed across the globe.
